Mixology Winter Ball

The team at MCL was on form again this year for the annual Mixology North Winter Ball at the City of Manchester Stadium marquee, working with one of the region’s leading production companies.

Following the success of last year’s event Project Manager Rob Rearden wanted to deliver a new look and feel this year, the use of our unique LED video wall product Versa TILE was definitely the right choice.

Making full use of MCL’s in house 3D Visualisation facility Rob was able to fine tune the proposal for the client well in advance and simulations of the Versa TILE helped ensure that the client was getting exactly what they wanted.

The stage set consisted of dual screens either side of the stage with columns of Versa TILE displaying ambient imagery complementing the lighting and video displayed on the screens. MCL also created a bespoke DJ booth for Danny Rampling constructed of Versa TILE which displayed a graphic equaliser, and supplied all crew, lighting, cameras and sound for the event as well as the provision of generators and mains distribution that will remain installed in the marquee throughout the festive period.

The combination of attention to detail, technical expertise and a keen eye for the bottom line has once again helped to deliver THE event in the interior design calendar.
